Star Trek: Away Missions, TheTransporter

The more people you send on away missions the more likely you are to receive the items won for the trip. The meters by the side of the items show the likelyhood of winning the items depending on who you send. The general rule of thumb….. The more people you send the more likely you are to get the item.

However having said this I found that the best combination of people for the Ferengi Billboard is: Riker, Geordi and Ferengi Mort. I tried a few times with the whole available crew and it didn’t work!

  1. The rec room hasn’t dropped transporter energy since I built it 😦 and I am struggling to get dictionaries, it’s not a common drop at all! I really hope Tiny Co increase the drop rates and let another character drop dictionaries too.

  2. I don’t know if this has been posted yet, but to increase my blue crystal drops I constantly move my rooms. The rec.room takes 2 hours to build and then ALWAYS drops a blue crystal upon finishing. That definitely beats waiting for 6 hours with only a chance for a crystal.

  3. So in theory..to get 10 chocolate bars, I’d need to collect 60 blue energy crystals!! Not that the crystals drop easily too & if the bars may not drop after transportation!!..Troi is gonna take forever unless Tinyco increase the drop rate!!

    1. I imagine they’ll give us more ways to do it and better drop rates, to be fair, we still have like a whole month or so of the event left, we don’t have to unlock her by Thursday when the new room becomes available

  4. The chocolate bars that you need to unlock Troi can only be found on the second planet, yet to maximize your chance of getting them you’d also need to use Troi. Vintage TinyCo.

  5. It has probably been said already but when a room becomes useless for anything other than the crystal and xp you can get rid of the room and build another room on top of it so if you want more of those things for the away missions just build that same room as many times as you can. My second one is building now.

  6. to get the sign just send mort (ferengi). to get the bomb to get the battle arena spend 25 clams to unlock the planet and send word and Klingon Chris.

    1. Doesn’t work that way. i sent Mort alone, he gets me nothing. i send riker, mort and forge like what Ryan mentioned, i only got the ores. It only depends on luck. You can send the whole crew as well but if you are lucky you will get the billboard. I really hate this transporter thingy if you are required to get something.i.e choc bar for troi or dictionary for Chris. I have tried so many times , different combinations but only got ores so far. This grinds my gear. definitely. big time.

  8. Just sending Mort should get you the billboard. Worked for me anyway, and it makes sense to get the ferengi billboard from ferengi mort

  9. So, does it cost 2 blue things to go on the mission? And, if so, does it cost 2 regardless of how many people you send on a mission? Also, do you always get a reward? And can you get multiple rewards on one trip? Thanks for all the great info and help, you folks rock!

    1. 2 blue crystals for the first planet, the more you send, the better the chance of rewards, 6 blue crystals for the second planet and same rules apply and yes to multiple rewards
